Go to next character and exhaust all of their dialogue options. Go back to first character and click through every single dialogue option again until you find the one new piece of dialogue you haven't clicked yet. It's extremely tedious.Whenever using your tool kits you're forced to play one of three mini-games, one of which can be skipped but not the other two...Kinda wish those were not included at all as they feel like pointless busywork rather than gameplay. The puzzles are fine for the most part, some are a little counter-intuitive. For example, in Act 1 there is a hammer on the very first screen. Of course your immediate instinct is to pick it up, but no matter what you try you are unable to lift it. So i figure the hammer is just a jokey reference to Thor's Hammer (yes the Marvel movie specifically) and has no further significance. But turns out there is a character who is looking for a hammer. So it has to be that hammer after all, right? Nope. The hammer in question is acquired by completely different means and Thor's hammer really is just Thor's hammer. That's just needlessly confusing. If a puzzle requires a hammer then there should be only one hammer in the whole game. On the plus side: The characters are likebale and the jokes are...well, let's say "pleasantly inoffensive" with numerous pop culture & videogame references thrown in. Graphics are unquestionably inspired by games like King's Quest or Quest for Glory. Easy on the eyes if a bit static. (Characters don't have walking animations they just kinda...stand there and narrate what's happening.) Music is fitting and pleasant. No voice acting but truth be told i prefer no voice acting over bad voice acting. There is also a built in hint system as well as a hot spot indicator which lowers the frustration of not knowing where to go and what to accomplish. Now with Act 2 out, i have to say i'm already liking Act 2 a whole lot more. Plenty more screens & people to talk to. Quality of the puzzle remains more or less the same. Mostly alright, with some frustrating "I'm out of ideas what to do next" moments. There are many instances of characters\/items suddenly showing up that weren't there before. Or events that trigger only after you solved certain puzzles. This often results in general aimlessness. Though as stated above, there IS a hint system which you should not feel ashamed to use frequently.I'd say if you have any love for Graphic Adventures (and if you're old enough to still use that term) then give A Tale of Caos a shot.. While a little on the short side, the game is excellently done, full of wit, and with tricky but on the whole logical puzzles. One downside is that some previous free instalments aren't bundled with it, particularly A Tale of Caos: Prelude, which sets up the backstory; Play that first. Experia Games have a well-deserved reputation for very high-quality adventure games, particularly the epic A Matter of Caos series. This looks to be another in the making.. boring, not funny, seems to be targeting younger audience. Also no ability to change resolution.. For its price, it's quite funny and interesting, but not too detailed. There's an easily accessible Walkthrough, but there's a lot of moon logic (I'm looking at you, Stream in Act 2!). Despite minor inconveniences in gameplay, the program is very solid and stable. Definitely get it while it's on sale!. boring, not funny, seems to be targeting younger audience. Also no ability to change resolution.
